Junior Project Engineer\n\nLondon & South East (UK travel required)\nCompetitive Salary + Development Opportunities\nFull-Time | Permanent\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services and construction engineering business seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join their growing project delivery team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) project engineering, working across live construction and building services projects throughout London and the South East.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Junior Project Engineer will support the coordination and delivery of MEP systems across a range of construction projects, working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.\n\nThe successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to technical coordination, site operations, project planning and engineering delivery while building a strong foundation for long-term progression within project engineering and management.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the planning and coordination of engineering and construction activities\nAssist with project programmes, scheduling and resource coordination\nReview drawings, specifications and technical documentation\nSupport site inspections, technical checks and commissioning activities\nHelp coordinate subcontractors, materials and project communications\nMonitor project progress and escalate issues where necessary\nAssist with document control, reporting and record keeping\nSupport health & safety compliance and quality assurance processes\nAttend meetings and assist with progress updates and project coordination\n\nRequirements\n\nApplicants should have:\n\nA relevant engineering or construction qualification, or be working towards one\nSome exposure to construction, engineering or building services environments\nBasic understanding of engineering principles and technical drawings\nStrong organisational and communication skills\nA proactive attitude and willingness to learn\nThis is an office/site-based role requiring regular travel within London and the South East.
