Project Engineer in Earth

Job Description

Client is seeking a skilled E&C Engineer II to support large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind and solar installations. This role is responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of projects, from design review to construction support and commissioning.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in renewable projects and is comfortable working in both office and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Review and evaluate engineering drawings, submittals, and technical documentation

\n

• Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Non-Conformance Requests (NCRs)

\n

• Ensure construction activities meet approved engineering design specifications

\n

• Provide on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning

\n

• Troubleshoot and resolve design conflicts and field issues

\n

• Collaborate with:

\n

• EPC contractors and equipment suppliers

\n

• Project managers, construction teams, and inspectors

\n

• Internal teams (operations, environmental, land rights, supply chain)

\n

• Support regulatory compliance efforts, including coordination with local, state, and federal agencies (e.g., FERC)

\n

• Track, document, and communicate progress across multiple stakeholders

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited )

\n

• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience

\n

• 2–3 years of renewable energy project experience (wind, solar, or similar)

\n

• Strong knowledge of:

\n

• Engineering drawings and design interpretation

\n

• RFI and NCR processes

\n

• Construction and design coordination

\n

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

\n

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
