The Engineer II / Project Manager Engineering II is responsible for managing capital engineering projects from initiation through completion (“cradle to grave”). These roles support either base capital projects at existing facilities (natural gas and coal) or strategic capital initiatives involving large, complex projects such as renewable energy systems and major infrastructure upgrades. Both positions require strong technical engineering knowledge combined with project management expertise to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely project execution.

\n Key Responsibilitie

• sLead full lifecycle project management including scope development, execution, and closeou

\n

• tValidate project justification and ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into scop

\n

• eManage project budget, schedule, quality, and safety performanc

\n

• eCoordinate procurement activities including hiring engineering consultants, contractors, and ordering materials/equipmen

\n

• tOversee project execution and conduct periodic field visits to monitor progres

\n

• sEnsure compliance with contract requirements for vendors, contractors, and supplier

\n

• sReview and support design documentation and engineering drawing

\n

• sConduct vendor/shop inspections and witness equipment testing when neede

\n

• dCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, environmental, sourcing, project controls, and engineering team

\n

• sFacilitate project closeout and transition to operations team

\n

\n

sRequired Qualification

\n

\n
• sBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline

\n

• )5–7+ years of engineering experience ( for Level II roles

\n

• )Minimum 2+ years of project management experienc

\n

• eExperience in utility, energy, or oil & gas industries preferre

\n

• dProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (

\n

\n

) Certification

• sEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certificatio

\n

• nFundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam completio

\n

• nProject Management Professional (PMP) – nice to hav
