Position Summary
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our construction project management team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Procore and other project management software, along with proven skills in scheduling, submittals, and documentation. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and Procore. You'll track progress, identify potential risks, and help develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation & Submittals: Manage submittal logs in Procore, ensuring all documents are accurate and meet project requirements. You'll coordinate with subcontractors and design teams to ensure timely submission and approval of all necessary paperwork. You'll use Bluebeam for document review and markups.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and distribute project reports and meeting minutes, keeping all parties informed of project progress. You'll also support project managers by tracking Requests for Information (RFIs) and change orders.
- General Support: Assist with project cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting. You'll maintain accurate records in Procore and Microsoft Excel, making sure all project documentation is complete and properly filed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency with Procore is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Bluebeam for document review and markups.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Desired Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is .
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction processes, contracts, and documentation standards.
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is a blend of office and on-site work. Occasional travel to project sites may be required.
