Project Engineer Do you have a passion for construction and a knack for problem-solving? Are you excited about working on dynamic projects and contributing to their success from start to finish? As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with project managers, contractors, and design teams to ensure every detail aligns perfectly. Your organizational skills and technical expertise will make you an integral part of our construction process. What You'll Do: Assist project managers in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects. Assist APM/PM and superintendent in developing site-specific safety and logistic plans to ensure safe and satisfactory project performance. Review project plans, specifications, and documents to ensure compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and design teams to address project needs and challenges. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Process, track, and submit certified payroll for required projects. Assist with the initial setup of project document controls. Conduct site visits to assess project status, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards. Support procurement processes by managing material orders, vendor relationships, and inventory. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Communicate project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. What Makes You a Great Fit: Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field. You have 5 years of experience in managing a direct hire workforce and subcontractors, and in managing multi-family housing construction projects. You're proficient in project management software and tools, with strong technical aptitude. You're organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work. You're an effective communicator who thrives in collaborative environments. You're proactive in identifying challenges and proposing solutions. You're eager to learn and grow in the field of construction engineering.
