The company’s mission emphasises engineering excellence, customer satisfaction and creating more efficient, resilient and sustainable built environments throughout the United Kingdom\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAre you an experienced engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality, safety-critical projects We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, playing a key role in the successful delivery of innovative Watermist or Sprinkler fire protection systems across a variety of exciting projects.\n\nIn this role, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. You’ll be at the heart of the action — coordinating with clients, managing on-site activities, and ensuring every stage of the project runs smoothly.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nSupporting project delivery from handover to completion\nPreparing and maintaining project programmes and documentation\nLiaising with clients to ensure satisfaction and clear communication\nCoordinating on-site teams, contractors, and suppliers\nManaging materials, labour costs, and project budgets\nConducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety checks\nEnsuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards\nPreparing and submitting O&M manuals, as-fitted drawings, and certification\nIdentifying and managing project variations and final accounts\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nStrong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation\nProven experience managing projects from £5k to £2m within construction or fire protection\nConfident managing on-site resources and maintaining schedules\nHolds SMSTS and CSCS certifications\nKnowledge of CDM regulations and safety management principles\nRelevant qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, City & Guilds) in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering\nProficient in MS Office and project documentation tools (RAMs, Quality Plans, CTC Sheets, Trackers)\n\nWhat’s in It for You\n\n£50-60k\nGenerous Company car allowance\n25 days’ holiday + bank holidays\nCompany pension scheme\nLife assurance\nPrivate medical insurance\nStandard working hours: 36.5 hours/week(Mon–Thurs 8:45–16:40, Fri 8:45–16:00)\n\nPlease call Steve far on (phone number removed) for more details and please apply to this advert to prompt a callback
