Job Description Job Description An established general contractor is hiring a Project Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale data center project in Amarillo, TX. This role is integral to ensuring technical accuracy, field coordination, and smooth execution across all project phases. The position is fully onsite, offering hands-on involvement with one of the most high-profile builds in the region. Key Responsibilities Support coordination among project managers, subcontractors, design teams, and client representatives to resolve field challenges and keep milestones on track Review construction drawings, submittals, and RFIs while ensuring constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements Contribute to BIM coordination, clash detection, quality control, and commissioning processes for CSA (civil, structural, architectural) systems Provide on-the-ground technical support, documentation, and oversight to maintain safety, quality, and schedule alignment Qualifications 3 years of project engineering experience in commercial construction; mission-critical/data center project exposure Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent field experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, project management software (Procore, Prolog, P6, etc.), and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven environment Compensation & Benefits Salary: $87K – $151K (DOE) Bonus: Individual & company bonuses Stock Appreciation Units (SAUs) Per Diem: $160/day non-taxable (effective once onsite; no company vehicle or gas card) Benefits: Medical ($95/mo employee), Dental ($8/mo employee), Vision, FSA, Dependent Care, Paid Family Medical Leave, LTD, Life Insurance, 401K Employee Retirement Plan, PTO (12 hours/month), EAP, One Medical Virtual Clinic (100% paid), Wellness Incentives, and more Location: Amarillo, TX (onsite only) This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer looking to advance in large-scale, mission-critical construction while working directly at the project site.
