About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovation-focused organization. In this role, you will lead the technical execution of complex, large-scale projects—from concept through production—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design components and assemblies using CAD tools (sheet metal, tubing, wiring, and injection-molded plastics)
  • Develop prototypes using 3D printing and other rapid prototyping techniques
  • Evaluate product feasibility through testing methodologies and performance analysis
  • Analyze test data to validate designs and recommend improvements
  • Review and approve incoming first article parts
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to the development of electro-mechanical systems and components
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and performance summaries
  • Provide engineering support by responding to internal and external technical inquiries
  • Ensure designs meet organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions

Manufacturing & Commercial Support

  • Create and maintain multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Develop assembly work instructions and test protocols
  • Prepare detailed drawing packages for production release
  • Support product launches and manufacturing processes
  • Partner with Sales to provide application engineering support and technical input for proposals
  • Draft and review technical specifications for customer quotations
  • Address customer inquiries and recommend solutions
  • Develop technical bulletins, operating manuals, and product documentation
  • Maintain adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines, and company policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
  • Proficiency with CAD and engineering tools (e.g., SolidWorks or similar platforms)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in engineering principles
  • Ability to create clear, concise technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with regular use of computers and standard office equipment
  • May require extended periods in a stationary position
  • Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 50 lbs
