Project Engineer

Position Overview
The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions that improve processes and enhance productivity, particularly in the food manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project requirements
- Implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency in food production and processing
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all project phases
- Troubleshoot project-related issues and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Project, or Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in project management within the food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of food production and processing techniques
- Familiarity with meat processing operations is
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
Travel Requirements
25% - 50% travel visiting manufacturing facilities, trade association meetings, and customer visits. Position requires time spent on the manufacturing floor.
Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $120,000 - $170,000
