Build the Future.\n\nDo you have a proven track record of running successful engineering projects?\nAre you looking for a role where you’ll take ownership of projects from order to installation, working with leading food manufacturers across the UK and beyond?\n\nIf that sounds like you, keep reading.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe’re hiring a Project Engineer to join our projects team at a market leader in process equipment manufacture!\n\nThis is an office-based role, but will have regular visits to customer sites.
You’ll sometimes oversee installations directly, managing subcontractors both in the UK and abroad. No two projects will be the same, and you’ll see your work delivered from initial order through to successful handover.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\n * Take full responsibility for contracts from order receipt to installation and handover.\n\n * Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.\n\n * Develop and agree the Project Scope with clients and sales teams.\n\n * Own and maintain the project schedule.\n\n * Produce project documentation (internal project numbers, Scope of Supply, timing plans, P&ID, BOMs, and layout drawings).\n\n * Specify and source bought-out components and equipment.\n\n * Manage project changes effectively.\n\n * Organise delivery and installation of equipment, including:\n\n * Customer Acceptance Testing (FAT/PDI)\n\n * Packing and shipping (including export documentation)\n\n * Installation planning, resources, and RAMS\n\n * Site Acceptance Testing\n\n * Training and documentation handover\n\n * Ensure invoices are issued on time and projects remain commercially controlled.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\nMust-Haves:\n\n * Experience in a similar role within a equipment OR machinery manufacturing.\n\n * Proven history of delivering successful engineering projects.\n\n * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with confidence to work across all business areas.\n\n * Enthusiastic, proactive approach with a “can do” attitude.\n\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS Project.\n\n * Proficiency in AutoCAD LT.\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence.\n\nNice to Have:\n\n * Knowledge of steam systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pipework.\n\n * Basic understanding of electrical control systems.\n\nWhy Join?\n\nYou’ll be joining an industry leader with a strong reputation in food processing equipment.
