EPC uses its industry leading hydrogen experience to design, permit, fabricate and manage field construction of all types of hydrogen systems. These include hydrogen production, storage and distribution systems, fuel cells systems for residential, industrial, or commercial developments, hydrogen transport trailers and pipelines for safe distribution and technologies like containerized ammonia production systems. Most of our design projects require about 2 months to design and another two months to fabricate. We are a growing small business. Responsibilities: Must have demonstrated skill as a Project Manager, preferably in the Petrochemical or Power industries. Conversant with WBS, cost and schedule preparation and control, and earned value calculation, and periodic progress reporting. Our projects are typically less than $2MM. New hires will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Will prepare and maintain Project Management Plans including Project QA/QC Plans, budgets and schedules and also manage work to meet these documents. Capable of developing schedules for proposals and project execution in MS Project or P6. Will be principal point of contact with Clients and be the face of the company. Some domestic travel may be required. Specific design experience with discipline specialties such as process systems (P&IDs) or piping, structural supports, skids, medium voltage wiring, or PLC controls are desirable and will be discussed during an interview.

New hire will:

• Manage multidisciplinary teams

• Provide technical guidance on all aspects of projects and proposed plans

• Work with Project Management team to coordinate scope and strategy including writing Project Management Plans, WBS, Earned Value reporting, QA/QC Plans, budgets, and schedules

• Prepare project designs and reports related to hydrogen infrastructure projects.

• Participate in client interaction as technical expert and help to strengthen client relationships

• May be asked to act as the sealing Engineer of Record.

• Work with technical staff in the preparation of construction/fabrication drawings

• Occasional field work and travel.

 

Requirements:

• Must have a BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, or Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in power or petrochemical industries

• Must be a registered Professional Engineer in at least one US state.

• Must have demonstrated skills as a Project Manager

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Have a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD products

• Candidate must be initiative-taking, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and excel in a multidiscipline project team environment.

• Candidate must be able to respond effectively to inquiries from clients and regulatory agencies.

• Remote work will be no more than 1 day per week.
