Project Engineer – Gloucester | £40,000 - £50,000+ | Hybrid | Company Car/Van | 2 x Bonuses each year | Huge progression route |\n\nWe’re hiring for a Project Engineer to join a brilliant team delivering water treatment and pumping projects across the region.\n\nThe Company\nYou’ll be joining a leader in pumping solutions world where you will mainly be working on projects within the water industry. They are known for their top-notch service, specialist equipment hire, and strong reputation across the UK. They’re scaling up fast, but have kept their tight-knit, no-nonsense culture with almost zero staff turnover.\n\nThe Role of the Project Engineer\n\nWorking on M&E projects up to £250k, you’ll take ownership from initial site visits and scoping, right through to delivery.
Think boots on the ground, sleeves rolled up — someone who can plan it and then make it happen.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\n * \n\n Scoping works and visiting sites\n\n * \n\n Managing pump installation projects end to end\n\n * \n\n Coordinating labour, materials, and equipment\n\n * \n\n Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are met\n\n * \n\n Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the in-house team\n\n * \n\n Reporting progress and keeping projects on track\n\nYou’ll need:\n\n * M&E background (mechanical or electrical bias welcome)\n\n * Experience working on pumping or water treatment projects\n\n * Solid knowledge of managing small-to-mid-sized schemes\n\n * Good communication and organisational skills\n\n * UK driving licence\n\n * Trained to HNC / HND Level ideal\n\n * SMSTS is a bonus but can be completed through the client\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\n * £40,000 - £50,000 basic (more available for the right person)\n\n * Company car or van\n\n * Company will put in 2 x pension contributions\n\n * 2x annual bonuses\n\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * Progression into Project Management\n\n * Annual team and company events\n\n * Loads of training and development\n\n * Hybrid working: office, site and WFH mix\n\nThis is a cracking opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer who wants more responsibility, better career prospects, and to join a genuinely great business with strong values and serious ambition
