The role is based in-office but may involve jobsite presence depending on project needs. We are actively seeking a Project Engineer (PE) to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting Project Managers by handling a variety of responsibilities including document control, contract administration, submittals, RFIs, and material tracking. The PE contributes to the overall success of our projects by ensuring timely and efficient communication and coordination throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the procurement of submittals, samples, and shop drawings per project requirements.

Distribute the latest project documents—drawings, specifications, and changes—to all relevant team members, subcontractors, and vendors.

Assist in scheduling and procurement to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.

Communicate regularly with subcontractors and suppliers regarding scheduling and deliveries; relay updates to the broader project team.

Support the project team in maintaining organized workflows for approvals and documentation with Owners, Architects, and Engineers.

Attend project meetings and take ownership of recording and distributing meeting minutes.

Track and maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, and costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee close-out documentation including as-builts, warranties, manuals, and other turnover materials.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field ; equivalent work experience considered.

Proficient in industry-standard software including Procore, Sage 300 (Timberline), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and high-pressure tasks effectively.

Comfortable engaging with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors in a professional manner.

Demonstrates professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
