Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer – ISIS Design Division



The ISIS Design Division urgently requires a Project Engineer with mechanical engineering and project leadership experience to support the delivery of bespoke research equipment. The role involves the design, analysis, and development of systems for particle accelerators, targets, and scientific instruments used at the ISIS research facility.



Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

OR



*



Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship + HNC

OR



*



Project management qualification + relevant engineering experience

Experience:



*



End-to-end delivery of complex, bespoke mechanical engineering projects – from concept through to commissioning



*



Project management responsibility across time / cost / quality dimensions



*



Working knowledge of industrial standards, regulations, and risk assessment / mitigation



*



Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills



*



Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams on high-specification mechanical equipment
