Connect Appointments have a permanent opportunity available for a Project Engineer in the Kilmarnock area.

Salary: Up to £51,500 per annum (DOE)
\n
Schedule: 37 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays
\n
Our client offers a comprehensive range of refurbishment, maintenance, overhaul, engineering support, project management, and repair services to the UK rail and light rail sector. They offer a stable and rewarding working environment from their state of the art facilities in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

- Development, planning and scheduling of projects to ensure requirements are met
- Creating and signing off project documentation
- Using Bills of Materials (BOMs) to record material requirements for each project and work with procurements to place orders
- Ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements

The ideal Project Engineer will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- The ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications
- The ability to collaborate across functions and departments
