We are the US subsidiary of a German-based leading producer of crankshafts, "the heart of every engine."
In Europe, we produce 2 out of every 3 crankshafts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Audi, Renault, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and many more.
In North America, we produce crankshafts for GM, Ford, Mercury, Harley-Davidson, and many more.
We are now expanding our plant to a new 2nd line.
We are hiring immediately.

SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for managing projects with the responsibility for project planning and development. Coordinates assigned project relationships and expectations in conjunction with overall project. Provides on-site direction to assigned project technicians to ensure completion of duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day to day direction to contractors and technicians to ensure all project tasks are completed in accordance with specifications.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Crankshaft Manufacturing processes.
- Lead the team to ensure goals and objectives are set and accomplished.
- Develop and maintain timelines to track milestones and are consistent with customer and company needs, budgets are set and expenses tracked, risks are identified and mitigated.
- Monitor project schedules and flow.
- Identify issues that can delay timelines and bring these issues to the attention of key stake holders.
- Provide support in resolving issues to meet project goals and deliverables.
- Work directly with functional department and group leaders.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports, agendas, meeting minutes, analyses and presentations.
- Work closely with project teams, clients and collaborators on resource planning and tracking, strategic planning and annual goal setting.
- Must be capable of motivating others, creating a positive work environment and foster inter-departmental collaboration,
- Must be capable of clearly assigning objectives, clearly setting and measuring and monitoring progress, managing resources and handling competing priorities.
- Must be committed to continuous improvement, leveraging data and technology to maintain and improve quality standards
- Manage personnel to meet business, quality, and safety requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of Project Management experience with machine/system integrations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
- Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets
- Familiar with lathes, mills, drills, bore, tapping, heat treat, grinding, balancing, rolling, polishing, etc.
- Knowledge of the following equipment and machinery is a plus: Heller, Alfing, Junker, Hoffman, Heckert, DMG Mori, Hegenscheidt, Supafina, and Kuka Robotics.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
