READY Construction is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by supporting project management, coordination, and quality assurance activities. As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
In this role, you will focus on:
Project Coordination:

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.

Maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

Track project progress and update schedules as needed.
Quality Control and Safety:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Assist in enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company standards.

Coordinate and verify inspections to maintain quality standards.
Cost Management:

Support the preparation and review of project budgets and cost estimates.

Monitor expenses, track project costs, and assist with financial reporting.

Assist with reviewing and processing subcontractor and supplier invoices
Communication and Collaboration:

Serve as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, and clients.

Facilitate project meetings

Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:

Manage project records, drawings, and documentation for accuracy and accessibility.

Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports.

Ensure as-built drawings are updated and submitted upon project completion.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) strongly

1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering, preferably with a general contractor.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and documentation.

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
