Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Job Overview: The Project Manager will oversee planning and coordinating technical project initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to schedule. This role includes upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
Duties/Responsibilities:· Oversee the technical design and engineering of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope and successful project completion.· Review and select process equipment, vendors, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.· Work with engineering team in a supportive role to complete and start up Gadsden Al plant.· Lead the search for a site to build a Pencco facility in Florida. · Create a customer data base for Florida and the southeast containing users of water treatment chemicals and industrial users of chemicals.· Aid in the design and build of iron and aluminum based production facilities.· Follow all State and Federal laws and regulations and help Pencco stay in compliance with these laws· Collaborate with Plant Managers to resolve issues that arise.· Manage projects that may come up in the Southeast.· Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.· Promote safety through proper design of processes and equipment selection· Follow safety protocols and practices while working in Pencco plants. · Submit weekly progress reports to senior management.· Manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency.· Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities: · Ability to oversee and manage projects from design to completion· Strong communication and leadership skills· Ability to work effectively within teams· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat · Ability to work effectively in remote settings· Proficient in AutoCAD
Education and Experience:· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or equivalent.· Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and/or construction management· General construction knowledge doing projects· Minimum 5 years experience in chemical industry .
