Project Engineer (230kV Power Plant)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and technically strong

Senior/Project Engineer

to support our

230kV power plant

operations and infrastructure projects at

Jurong Island . The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in high-voltage substations or power installation and be well-versed in project management, technical documentation, and field execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 230kV electrical installation.

Participate in engineering activities across the project; by managing the disciplines for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality and safety goals

Manage and oversee engineering projects related to 230kV electrical systems and power plant infrastructure.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to substation equipment, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

Support site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting as required.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on permits, approvals, and inspections for the project

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in 230kV high-voltage infrastructure.

Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
