Project Engineer

We will be seeking experienced Project Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical & Civil) for major WA based resource projects in 2024. These will be site-based roles typically on 2/1 FIFO roster, 12-month contracts predominantly with the EPCM or Owners Team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, project scheduling
  • Managing project costs, budget, scope of works and project execution to ensure project compliance
  • Directing resources, delivery of materials and equipment and establishing detailed plans for coordination of site-based maintenance, shutdown and project activities.
  • Working with Operational stakeholders to ensure delivery meets operational requirements
  • Assisting in site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and assisting in regular forecasting of project costs.
  • Assessing subcontractor and supplier quotes and ensuring on–site compliance with safety protocols
  • Your Experience:

  • Relevant Engineering tertiary qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in Project Engineering positions
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees
  • Project Management experience including the delivery of large, complex and multi discipline projects
  • Experience with project budgeting and cost control
