Project Engineer

Empowering people, creating technology.Responsibilities:Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications. Work closely with global engineering team to assess and translate the needs from process, production and other related functions into specifications, designs. Oversee product blueprint design. Perform checks and inspections throughout all stages of the project implement to ensure high quality, and budgets are kept, deadlines are met. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.Establish and maintain documentation related to the projects, including specification, design, permits, budgetary documents, manufacture, installation, commissioning and hand-over etc. Special projects and assignments as ordered by superior and required by business. Participate in the Freudenberg “We All Take Care” program by creating and supporting a safe working environment, minimizing impacts on the environment and notifying the HSE department or Site Executive Officer of opportunities for improvement or areas of risk. Comply with corporate and company stated policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws established by local and state authorities. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical, process equipment engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred. Min 8 years’ experience in mechanical, engineering in the petroleum or chemical industry; Familiar with structure, electrical & Instrument, plumbing, HVAC system is preferred. Skilled use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software. Familiar with Microsoft Project software is preferred. Project management experience. Adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions. Knowing equipment safety systems and processes. Knowledge in PSM （Process Safety Management） is preferred. Have an eye for good and state-of-the-art design. Self-motivated and enthusiastic problem-solvers with strong attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong team spirit and coordination skill. Good communication skill. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.Be willing to travel or relocate. Good command of English – oral and written.
