Project Director - M&E - Hospitals & Substation
Location: Kettering
Salary: £100K – £110K + Package
We are working with a leading contractor delivering complex infrastructure and building projects across the UK. They are seeking a Project Director to take full ownership of project delivery on a major scheme in Kettering.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a proven track record of delivering technically complex projects, with a strong focus on Hospitals and Substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion
- Lead all project teams including construction, engineering, commercial and planning
- Manage programme, budget and overall project performance
- Act as the key point of contact for the client and all senior stakeholders
- Drive programme delivery, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance
- Oversee coordination across multiple disciplines including electrical, mechanical and civil works
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Report to senior management on project performance and key milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience operating at Project Director or Senior Project Manager level
- Strong background delivering hospital or healthcare projects
- Experience working on High Voltage or substation projects is highly desirable
- Mechanical and Electrical experience is desirable
- Demonstrated track record delivering complex, high-value projects
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial and contractual awareness
- Ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams
