Project Director – London\n\nRidgeway & Co are currently partnering with a number of Tier 1 and rapidly growing main contractors across London, seeking experienced Project Directors to lead the successful delivery of major, high-profile construction projects across a variety of sectors, including:\n\n * Education (Schools & Colleges)\n\n * Healthcare\n\n * Laboratories & Life Sciences\n\n * Commercial Offices\n\nThese opportunities offer highly competitive salaries of up to £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent prospects for career progression within well-established and expanding organisations.\n\nThis is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing multiple projects or large-scale flagship developments, ensuring strategic delivery, operational excellence, and strong commercial performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide strategic leadership across one or multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion\n\n * Oversee Project Managers and wider delivery teams\n\n * Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards\n\n * Drive commercial performance, including cost control and margin improvement\n\n * Lead stakeholder engagement at senior level, including clients and consultants\n\n * Ensure full compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements\n\n * Report directly to senior executives and contribute to business growth strategies\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience in a Project Director or Senior Project Manager role within the construction industry\n\n * Strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects\n\n * Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities\n\n * Highly commercial with strong financial and contractual understanding\n\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\n * Relevant construction or project management qualifications\n\nIf you’re an experienced construction leader looking to take ownership of major projects and drive delivery at a strategic level, we’d be keen to hear from you.\n\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nSalary: Up to £120,000 per year\nSchedule: Monday to Friday\nWork Location: In person
