Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with department directors, you will have the following responsibilities to manage large-scale, complex projects: Accompany, supervise and support project managers and superintendents throughout the project.Be the reference for bids, management and project execution files.Ensure compliance with deadlines, working methods and type of materials and equipment used as well as budgets.Attend special site meetings as well as important statutory meetings with the client.Supervise and present possible solutions and/or alternatives when necessary to make a project more profitable.Ensure a good relationship between the client and our stakeholders, and take action when this is not the case.Review the majority of contracts, proposals and important correspondence for the project.Negotiate amendments.Follow up with stakeholders for payment and approve invoices, statements and cost breakdowns.Write letters, memos and notices.Closely monitor and control project deadlines.Conduct the profitability study and ensure compliance with the deadlines for profitability studies and sending of invoices.Actively participate, through your attitude and behavior, in developing and maintaining a respectful, harmonious and stimulating work atmosphere for all.Collaborate with all colleagues and promote teamwork. Required Skills and Qualities: BAC in Civil Engineering.At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of deep foundations is a great asset.Be part of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.Demonstrated project management skills.Employee management and mobilization skills.Have team spirit, excellent communication and actively participate, through your attitude and behavior, in developing and maintaining a respectful, harmonious and stimulating work atmosphere for all.Travel to construction sites required.Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
