Project Engineer

Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing Recruitment company based in Norfolk. We are working closely with our client who are leading manufacturer and supplier of post-harvest washing and handling solutions. Due to continuous growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager, this role would suit a mechanical engineer with experience in engineering project management.

Purpose of this role:

The management of installation projects from handover by sales through to completion ensuring a structured accountability for the project to ensure the work is properly championed through until completion, staying on budget, schedule and scope

The Project Manager must be able to lead and foster collaborative working relationships across the organisation. Additionally, they will be able to identify risks and issues that could affect the project and provide suitable solutions. Be a leader with strong skills in relationship building (External and Internal), people management and communication.

Key requirements:

· An appropriate mechanical engineering qualification, with a proven track record in project management

· Strong computer skills including 3D design software specifically Autodesk Inventor or equivalent ie Solidworks

· Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment,

· Strong numeracy and data analysis skills with an understanding of financial, operational and technical aspects of a manufacturing environment

· Be flexible, dynamic, open to change and variety in the workplace.

· Demonstrable ability to foster collaborative working relationships to develop and nurture customer relationships

· Experience with project management systems and practises.

· Experience working in an international B2B environment.

· Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.

This is a permanent full-time position, working hours are Monday to Friday, level of flexibility/ international travel may be required due to the nature of this role.
