Company: Bertram Communications

Reports To: Manager of Strategic Partnerships

Role Overview

Bertram Communications is looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to bridge the gap between our planning phase and field execution. You will be the central point of contact for telecommunications projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with local regulations. If you are a master of logistics with a "get it done" attitude, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project timelines; coordinate the deployment of technicians and subcontractors to job sites.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure all necessary materials (fiber cabling, hardware, specialized tools) are ordered and available before project kickoff.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate with local and county officials to secure necessary right-of-way permits and ensure projects meet safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project files, including blueprints, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Warehouse) and external stakeholders.
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor project expenses against the initial bid and alert management of any potential cost overruns.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in construction, utilities, or telecommunications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or Monday.com) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Logistics Mindset: Ability to read technical drawings or site maps and translate them into actionable schedules.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; you’ll be talking to everyone from city planners to field technicians.
  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (occasional site visits may be required).

Attributes

  • Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) mapping.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills—you’re the person who finds a Way when "Plan A" falls through.
