Job Title: Project Coordinator – Level 1
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Coordinator will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Project Manager in the development of project plans, including project scope, goals, and deliverables.
•Assists in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.
•Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
•Liaise with clients/stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
•Ensure that stakeholders’ needs are met as the project evolves.
•Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.
•Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
•Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
•Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
•Tracks project timelines and budgets.
•Communicate with team members to ensure task completion
Required Skills:
• Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual is a Plus (English Spanish).
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Methodologies (CAPM) certification is a plus.
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
