The Project Co-Ordinator is an integral member of the projects team. The position is designed to be an important function within the team to ensure that project scopes are procured, manufactured and tested to meet project objectives and standards.
The Project Co-Ordinator works collaboratively with the projects team, engineering, supply chain management and workshop as well as supporting services including HSE & Quality, suppliers and contractors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of project support and planning/scheduling experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Project) and web-based collaborative platforms (i.e. SharePoint).
- Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of document control systems and project design.
- Experience raising requisitions as well as working with ERP and CRM systems.
- Mechanical technical knowledge, interest or background.
• Provide project management and support, including document maintenance, report preparation, meeting coordination and plan monitoring.
• Track and update project progress including procurement, cost reports, invoicing and work requirements to ensure timely execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Supply Chain to manage project part requirements, BoM, requisitions and tracking.
• Where required to understand and track scope, participate in design reviews.
• Review and document current processes.
• Support the Project Manager and team in managing multiple projects, activities and resources.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for Engineering, Projects and Workshop, to facilitate information exchange and project completion.
• Collect and analyze data to track project progress and identify issues against milestones.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and supply chain management for successful order and vendor management.
• Obtain a broad understanding of engineering, procurement, inventory, and workshop workflows.
• May be required to manage inventory builds, manufactured products and sales items.
• Assist with project close-out, AAR participation, and lessons learned.
• Help develop and maintain OPG forms, work instructions, and processes.
