We are recruiting for our client based near to Heathrow, a Project coordinator or someone with Multi Modal knowledge within a Freight Forwarding envirnoment\nThis is a Mon to Fri position, 9-530pm - Ideally you will have 5-10 years experience and Salary £38-50k depending on experience\nOutline of the role:\nMaintain Customer Service Import & Export, ensures (within the functional scope) operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction.\nDuties Include:\n * Dealing with multimodal transport operations(Road, sea, air, import, export, warehousing, out of gauge cargo\n * Order acceptance\n * Operations consulting, planning & scheduling\n * Service decision\n * Ad hoc quotation to customers\n * Urgent deliveries controlling, reporting\n * Follow-up on cargo customs clearance and timely delivery\n * File opening\n * Pick-up arrangement\n * Booking\n * Booking of direct/back to back shipments with carrier\n * Customer Inquiries\n * Operational Job Costing\n * Arrival notification to customer\n * Coordination of transit shipments activities\n * Receiving of customer’s instructions\n * Cooperation with customs subcontractor and control on its activities\n * Provide Track & Trace info\n * Irregularity management/handling within his/her responsibility\n * Assure Temporary import / export files controlling / letters submitting.\n * Maintain area standard operational processes\n * Ensure customer retention and customer satisfaction\n * Provide forwarding / logistic support to sales\n * Provide performance on operational excellence and initiate corrective measures\n * Assure operational excellence within his/her responsibility\n * Assure the correct and full use of operation enabling applications\nRequirements & Skills\nKnowledge (air / logistics / SCM) preferably in Projects – Oil & Gas, mining, energy sectors.\nCommunication & Interpersonal skills\nCustomer minded\nEducational background & work experience\nPreferable Operational industry experience\nPreferably international working experience\nLanguage skills: Fluent in English
