Mb Staffing Services is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Project Coordinator;
Duties and Responsibilities include Scheduling kickoff/recurring meetings, scribing of published minutes, developing meeting agendas, and managing stakeholder communication by following up on status to ensure deliverables and milestones are monitored and deadlines met.
Plan, monitor and coordinate the schedule of assigned projects and progress of tasks from inception to closure to ensure results are achieved. Update project plans as needed. Coordinate communication and resolution of any issues that arise.
Organizes, tracks, and communicates information critical to the department to help ensure goals are met and important milestones are monitored, and deliverables addressed in a timely manner
Assist in data collection and validation efforts from numerous sources based on project scope and progress; summarizes data and prepares recommendations to management based on findings
• Community outreach and marketing communications
• Collaboration with IT and partner agencies to strategically plan/develop basic IT training curricula and training locations
• Conduct in-person, individualized or small group instruction in English and in Spanish to Prince William County residents (adults 18-65+) who need to learn essential introductory digital skills.
• Technology inclusion administration and reporting.
Qualifications
a. One (1)+ years’ experience as a project coordinator or project manager
b. General understanding of software development processes, methodologies and Project Management Life Cycle
c. Strong technical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, and overall positive attitude.
• Ability to drive to various Prince William County locations
• Ability to meet with county agencies or community partners, or deliver small group or individual training
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Highly organized and independent with ability to collaborate with IT and partner organizations as needed
• Work evenings/weekends as needed to deliver training (as part of regular work schedule)
• Work a flexible schedule to accommodate IT, agencies, community partners, and a training schedule
• Experience in public service desirable
• Two years’ experience training adults with various digital literacy skill levels desirable
Education:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. combined with one year of work experience.
Technical Skills:
MS Teams, MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, etc.).
• Ability to learn and use various training software and platforms for training, assessment of participants’ digital literacy needs
• Ability to understand and exercise data analytics.
• Content management
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Online communication/meeting tools, such as Teams, WebEx and Zoom
• Basic understanding of technology equipment and tools: laptops/computers, smartphones, Internet, texting, chats, and email.
