Project Controls Manager\nCentral London\nHybrid Work\n£85,000 - £95,000 Per Annum\nWe are recruiting for a Project Controls Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major civil engineering section of HS2. This is a pivotal role within a high‑performing project team shaping the future of transport infrastructure.\nThe Role\nYou will lead the full suite of project controls activities across a complex, multi‑disciplinary construction environment. Working closely with project leadership, engineering, commercial and planning teams, you will ensure robust control of cost, schedule, risk and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Oversee integrated project controls including planning, cost management, risk, change and reporting\n * Lead and develop a team of planners, analysts and project controls specialists\n * Maintain accurate programme baselines and ensure alignment with contractual requirements\n * Provide high‑quality performance dashboards, earned value analysis and progress reporting\n * Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation and trend analysis\n * Support governance reviews, client reporting and strategic decision‑making\n * Ensure compliance with project standards, processes and digital systems\nAbout You\n * Strong background in project controls within major infrastructure, rail, highways or large‑scale civils\n * Proven leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary project controls teams\n * Excellent understanding of cost control, planning methodologies and earned value management\n * Skilled in Primavera P6, cost systems and project reporting tools\n * Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders\n * Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑profile programme environment
