Job Description:
This role provides cost control expertise to support the financial performance of projects within the Energy Distribution industry, with preference for experience in Natural Gas. The position is responsible for monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasts, and billing activities, while ensuring compliance with client approval processes. It plays a key role in reporting and analysis to help drive accuracy, efficiency, and informed decision-making. 
Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Cost Control: Develops and maintains cost reports, cost profiles, and performance metrics to support project teams.
• Forecasting: Prepares and updates monthly forecasts, cash flows, and variance analyses.
• Data Management: Collects, tracks, and analyzes project cost data for reviews and reporting.
• Billing: Prepares payment applications, manages invoice reviews, and supports approvals.
• Change Management: Reviews and processes change orders, ensuring compliance with approval protocols.
• Budget Support: Assists with annual budgeting processes and project financial planning.

Qualifications Required:

• Experience: 5+ years of cost control experience on capital projects, preferably within an Energy Distribution company (Natural Gas industry experience a plus).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus but not required.
• Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
