Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Project Controls Manager, you will have the primary responsibility for project controls and management of the project controls team.
- You will be responsible for performing all aspects of project control activities, ensuring that project administration, change management, project estimating, cost management, and schedule management are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with all company standards and contractual requirements.
- As a Project Controls Manager, you will support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in monitoring and maintaining control of technical, cost, and schedule performance through a Project Controls System including earned value management, key performance indicators, risk management, and change control.
- Will conduct interactive planning meetings and program/project status briefings for internal and external representatives.
- In conjunction with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, serves as a focal point to coordinate with Clients on any financial disputes and issues.
- Ensures the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on progress, cost, and schedule variances and forecasts.
- Track RFIs/change orders and analyze cost/schedule impact.
- Incorporate baseline changes into P6 schedule.
- Calculate estimates to complete and estimates at completion.
- Review subcontractor invoices for progress and funding status.
- Effectively communicate with project team, client, and home office management on project control issues.
- Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meeting and conferences.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
