Position Summary
The Project Controls Manager will lead a Project Controls team across multiple blue-chip projects from concept to handover. The role oversees the execution, coordination, and delivery of key Project Controls outputs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced, agile, and integrity-driven leader who can guide a high-performing team within a dynamic, fast-growing Lean organization.
Summary of Responsibilities
Project Controls Governance
- Develop and approve Project Controls strategies for all projects.
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within agreed hours, and to required quality.
- Maintain compliance with procedures and lead updates where needed.
Cost, Schedule & Reporting
- Produce accurate project estimates, budgets, schedules, and forecasts using Primavera
- Generate and approve monthly cost reports.
- Lead strategic cost-control initiatives and support change management.
Lean & Efficiency
- Implement lean methodologies such as Last Planner and Target Value Design.
- Drive efficiency and lean initiatives internally and on client projects.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clear insights on cost, schedule, and contract performance.
Skills and Experience Required
- Third-level qualification and 10+ years’ procurement or cost controls experience.
- Background in multidisciplinary design or client engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and auditing.
- Experience with lean methods and working in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting capability.
- Fluent English (German advantageous)
