Job Description

Join Olsson's Federal Engineering & Design Team as a Project Civil Engineer. At Olsson, you'll play a key role in shaping projects that support military bases, VA campuses, and other vital government facilities. Join a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative, site/civil engineering solutions that meet rigorous federal standards and exceed client expectations.

What You'll Do

Lead comprehensive civil design efforts on federal projects -including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout - ensuring precision and compliance.

Develop detailed planning and design documents, technical specifications, and reports.

Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes.

Ensure all designs meet UFC, DoD, VA, and other federal regulations and standards.

Support proposal development and actively participate in federal RFP responses.

Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, guiding projects from concept through completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Minimum 6 years of experience in civil/site design, ideally with federal clients.

Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant design software.

Deep understanding of DoD, VA, and federal design standards and processes.

Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate complex projects.
