Position Hiring: Project Architect / Technical Manager Healthcare (HCAI/OSHPD/Hospitals)

Your Role:
As a Project Architect / Technical Manager, you will drive the technical development, coordination, and execution of medium to large-scale healthcare projects. With a strong focus on HCAI compliance, you will ensure that all aspectsfrom design development to construction documentationalign with regulatory requirements, project goals, and client expectations. Youll collaborate with consultants, design teams, and agency officials, guiding projects through approvals and into reality.
What Youll Do
- Oversee technical development and ensure design intent is executed accurately in construction documents.
- Resolve complex code and regulatory challenges, coordinating directly with HCAI and other agencies to secure approvals.
- Manage project teams, assigning tasks, mentoring staff, and maintaining workflow efficiency.
- Lead coordination efforts with consultants, government agencies, and utility providers.
- Monitor quality control, reviewing documents for compliance, constructability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership in materials and systems selection, ensuring functionality, durability, and sustainability.
- Support business development, participating in client meetings, marketing efforts, and proposal writing.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish work plans, budgets, staffing projections, and schedules.
What You Bring
- Licensed Architect in California (required for Project Architect designation).
- 7+ years of experience in architectural practice, with a strong background in healthcare projects.
- Expertise in HCAI regulatory requirements and experience navigating complex approval processes.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to manage teams and delegate work effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for technical precision and project coordination.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects forward with confidence.

Compensation & Work Environment
- Salary range: $100-130,000/year (DOE)
- Full Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K
