The Carlile Group has an immediate need for a full time Project Architect I to join our team. Our firm provides full service architectural design, documentation, and administration services to clients from the commercial retail, office, civic, education, healthcare, , light industrial, and residential market sectors.

The current opportunity is offered as a full-time position.  Compensation range is anticipated between $62,000 – 68,000 per year. Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan with employer contribution, performance bonus compensation, paid vacation and personal time.

Candidate should be fluent in drafting, design, and general office software programs and operating systems including:

·       Autodesk AutoCAD

·       Autodesk Revit a plus

·       Trimble Sketchup

·       Apple OS

·       MasterSpec

·       Microsoft Office (Including Project)

What will you do?

• Oversee and delegate design and production team responsibilities, including consultants, to ensure coordinated and complete deliverables with minimal input from Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge.
• Ensure project milestones and budgets are in alignment to meet client expectations and firm financial expectations. Communicate constraints to superiors and prepare recovery options for implementation where necessary.
• Develop renderings, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables
• Attend meetings and prepare various project related documentation through all phases of project to memorialize delivered services and client expectations.
• Conduct Construction Administration progress meetings and field observation of installed work for contract compliance and develop Field Reports.

Education and Experience:

Candidate should have completed a professional degree program at an accredited university holding a Bachelor of Architecture and/or Master of Architecture.  Candidate should be enrolled in the Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Architect Experience Program (AXP) with candidate pursuing licensure.

Candidate should possess 3-5 years of architectural experience preparing design and documentation deliverables for projects.
