A dynamic, design-led architectural practice is seeking a Project Architect with 5-10 years of experience to join their growing team in Leeds city centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Project Architect to work on a range of complex and rewarding projects across sectors including residential, commercial and public sector frameworks.\n\nThe studio is located just a short walk from Leeds train station, offering a modern and collaborative environment with flexible working options. At this company, flexibility, trust and collaboration are more than policies - they are part of the company DNA.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Project Architect, you will take the lead on a variety of projects from inception through to completion (RIBA Stages 0-7), collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful, technically robust design solutions.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nLeading medium to large-scale projects through all RIBA stages\nManaging client relationships and acting as a key point of contact\nProducing detailed design and technical packages, including working with Revit\nCoordinating with consultants and managing delivery on site\nSupporting and mentoring junior staff within the team\nContributing to project planning, resourcing, and quality assurance processesThe ideal Project Architect will bring:\n\n5-10 years post-Part III experience, ideally in commercial, residential, or public sector work\nStrong technical knowledge and design ability\nConfidence working independently and within a team structure\nProven experience delivering projects through all work stages\nProficiency in Revit (essential) and BIM workflows\nA collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills\nAn interest in sustainable design, MMC, or net-zero carbon strategies (desirable)What's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary £42,500 - £50,000 depending on experience.\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\n3% employer pension contribution\nSickness protection cover and paid professional memberships\nModern, open-plan studio environment with hybrid working (2-3 days from home)\nSupportive and inclusive team culture\nCareer development opportunities and structured progressionInterested?\n\nApply now with your CV and portfolio, or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
