Contract Programme Manager - Security & Financial Crime

Location: Knutsford, Cheshire (2 days per week onsite)Day Rate: Inside IR35Contract: Long-term programme// 6 months contract

A leading organisation is seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to deliver a portfolio of complex Security and Financial Crime initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of functional and technical delivery experience within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-workstream programmes across Security, Risk, and Financial Crime
• Own programme governance, planning, reporting, and delivery oversight
• Align business and technology teams to ensure successful execution
• Manage senior stakeholders and maintain clear communication on risks, issues, and dependencies
• Oversee delivery of both technical and change components, ensuring compliance with financial services standards

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience as a Programme Manager within financial services
• Proven background delivering Financial Crime, Security, or Cyber programmes
• Ability to manage complex, enterprise scale initiatives with both technical and functional elements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within highly regulated environments

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid: two days per week onsite in Knutsford (Cheshire area)
• Remainder remote
• UK-based candidates only; umbrella engagement required
