Programme Manager - Policy Administration System Implementation (12-Month Initial Contract)\n\nLocation: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the City of London\n\nDuration:12-month initial contract (potential for multi-year extension)\n\nDay Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Outside IR35)\n\nWe are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a leading insurance company in the implementation of a new Policy Administration System (PAS). We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with a robust background in the insurance sector to lead a complex, long-term programme aimed at renewing technology and business processes over the next 2-3 years. This is a unique chance to shape governance, optimize processes, and guide the programme from inception to successful delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Programme Leadership: Oversee the implementation of the policy administration system, establishing key milestones and ensuring that deliverables align with scope, budget, and timeline.\n\n- Governance Set-Up: Develop governance frameworks and structures to facilitate smooth programme operations and effective reporting.\n\n- Process Improvement: Identify, streamline, and enhance existing processes to maximize efficiency throughout the programme’s lifecycle.\n\n- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with client objectives.\n\n- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential issues or delays proactively to maintain programme momentum.\n\n- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and their potential impacts on programme delivery.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n- Proactive and Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.\n\n- Related Sector Experience: Proven track record of managing programmes within the insurance, financial or similar professional sectors.\n\n- Policy Administration System Implementation: Experience in delivering complex system implementations from inception to completion is highly desirable.\n\n- Governance and Process Optimisation: Expertise in establishing governance structures and optimizing processes for programme success.\n\n- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.\n\nThis role offers a talented programme professional the chance to drive a long-term transformation within the insurance industry.
