Reports to: Jenna Curry, Program Director

FLSA Status: Salary Exempt

Salary: Starting at $65,000

Location: Denton/Little Elm

Department: Transition Academy- Denton/Little Elm

Technology: Laptop and Cell Phone

Travel (frequency): Some

On-Call (Frequency): Some (every 3rd weekend: Friday at 5pm through Sunday at 10pm

Average Hours Per Week: Full Time 40 Hours/Week

Weekend Work (Frequency): On call every 3rd weekend

Title and Employees Supervised: Approximately 15 direct support staff

Position Summary

The Program Support & Compliance Manager serves as the primary liaison between Transition Academy Direct Support Staff and leadership, providing oversight, guidance, and support to ensure the success of all operations at the 29 Acres Transition Academy apartments at Elan Denton. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered support services for while developing and supporting staff to be successful and compliant in their roles. The project manager will support the implementation of new initiatives at the Transition Academy while supervising and supporting staff as well as providing performance feedback.

Position Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is highly (comparable experience may substitute for education).

  • Required: 3+ years of leadership or management experience, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.

  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to provide positive reinforcement as well as have direct, constructive conversations when needed.

  • Required: Must complete Company Training within the first 90 days of employment: CPR, First Aid, and CPI or Safety Care

  • Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

  • Required: Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and possess an acceptable driving record.

  • Required working conditions include:

    • Environments include indoor (e.g. office, house, classroom), and outdoor with resultant climate variations.

    • May include required strength/endurance (e.g. lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.)

    • Must have the physical ability to respond appropriately to situations that require first aid or CPR

Responsibilities

A. Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to direct support staff.

  • Under the guidance of the Director, plan, develop and organize, the day-to-day operations of the Sophomore TA program at Elan Apartments..

  • Conduct regular 1:1 coaching meetings and shift visits across all staff.

  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure accountability.

  • Monitor program budget

  • Complete payroll and scheduling

B. Employee Compliance & Performance Management

  • Ensure staff compliance with 29 Acres’ policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Partner with HR to oversee staff documentation, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes.

  • Track staff turnover in collaboration with HR and develop strategies to improve retention.

C. Liaison & Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Direct Support Staff regarding programmatic concerns and operational issues.

  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Transition Academy ( and other departments) to resolve challenges and improve processes.

D. Training, Modeling & Coaching Best Practices

  • Model effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving strategies.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to Direct Support Staff while modeling professional conduct.

  • Ensure fidelity checks and ensure staff are implementing best practices in service delivery.

E. Operational Support & Program Oversight

  • Identify operational and programmatic inefficiencies and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in all apartments

Performance Metrics:

  • Effective coaching and development of direct support staff.

  • Improved staff performance and compliance with HR and program policies.

  • Increased operational consistency and communication across staff.

  • High levels of resident satisfaction and program fidelity.
