Role Overview
Everblue is seeking a Program Manager to support workforce development initiatives tied to energy efficiency and weatherization programs, including training, certification, and contractor engagement.
In this role, you will coordinate program activities, manage partners, and support delivery aligned with federal and state program requirements. You will play a key role in strengthening the pipeline of trained professionals supporting WAP and related energy efficiency initiatives.

This role helps build the workforce needed to deliver weatherization and energy efficiency programs at scale—supporting low-income communities while strengthening contractor networks and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination

  • Coordinate workforce programs aligned with WAP and energy efficiency initiatives
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and partner activities
  • Ensure alignment with federal and state program requirements

Training & Workforce Development

  • Support training and certification programs for contractors and energy professionals
  • Coordinate with training providers to expand workforce pipelines
  • Connect participants to employment and contractor opportunities

Partner & Contractor Engagement

  • Engage contractors, community organizations, and local agencies
  • Support onboarding and participation in programs
  • Maintain relationships to strengthen workforce pipelines

Program Tracking & Reporting

  • Track participation, completion, and workforce outcomes
  • Support reporting aligned with program requirements
  • Maintain accurate program data and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in workforce development, program coordination, WAP, or similar field
  • Experience supporting federally or state-funded programs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Experience with WAP or similar programs (LIHEAP, utility programs, HOMES/HEAR)
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, weatherization, or building science
  • Experience supporting training, certification, or contractor engagement programs
  • Experience with CRM or program tracking systems

Work Structure

  • Hybrid role based in Huntersville, NC
  • Local travel required to support program activities and partners
