The Program Manger earns a competitive salary.
Program Manager. The Program Manager works under the guidance of the Assistant Director, responsible for ensuring the facilities assigned are in the best operational condition possible. Ensure the wants, needs, and connections to community and desires of the people supported are carried out to the best of their abilities. The Charles Lea Center staff's main responsibility is to support people with disabilities and special needs to achieve their personal goals, to help them develop and maintain relationships, skills, and roles which promote success in their lives. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROGRAM MANAGER
As the Program Manager, you are responsible for implementation, management, supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of the programs to ensure compliance in accordance with established standards. Provide direct guidance, support, and supervision to Lead DSP (Direct Support Professionals) and DSPs (Direct support Professionals). Oversees the day-to-day operation of homes or home assigned. Ensure systems and structure are in place and ensures all health and safety needs are adequately met and monitored and any other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 18 years of
- Ability to pass a background check upon hire
- Valid driver's license
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors' degree with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Human Services or Associate's degree with a minimum of four (4) to five (5) years' experience in Human Services or a High school diploma with five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in developmental disabilities and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of person-centered services and general understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to people with disabilities also
- Strong organizational
- Strong oral and writing skills
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Team player

Travel
Travel mainly within Spartanburg County, infrequent visits to other parts of state as well as travel out of state for conference may be required
