Scope of Role Professional in Program Management, Involved in managing vehicle level programs for design and development of Aluminium, Sheetmetal Structural body design. Leads vehicle level programs, issue management and tracking, ensuring deliverables are met, drives strategic planning efforts. Leads negotiations, spearheads solutions for program problems, and the P&L of programs. Area of Responsibility • Leads program to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility. • Control and monitoring milestones, program plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitors allocation of resources. • Issue management and tracking the deliverables • Reviews and presents plans and progress reports, monitors the presentation of value-stream strategy, progress, and results. • Leads continuous improvement including initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality. • Identifies and reacts to program problems issues and recommends solutions in resolution development for escalated problems- Risk and Issue Management • Drives/leads responses to customer action items. • Directs all program phases from inception through completion. • Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion of all gateways and program milestones. • Coordinates the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for programs and Change Management . • Establishes cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets. Knowledge / Experience – 12 to 15 Years Essential: • Led at least 2-3 programs from concept to launch • Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements, • Understands Aluminium stamping, Sheetmetal and Composites (Carbon Fibre, SMC) • Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders. • Expert level ability to effectively present information to Leadership, Senior Management, and Customers. • Strong understanding of Program Financial Analysis and Reporting. • Ability to respond to complex inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of Senior Management. • Liaise with Cross functional team, Peers • PC Literacy: Power Point, Excel, Word etc • Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. Qualification • Minimum BE/B. Tech/ Automotive Engineering
