- Coordinate, manage, and ensure implementation of all IVRRN activities as outlined in relevant work plans and as assigned.
- Coordinate and facilitate bimonthly coalition meetings, IV Steering Committee meetings and legal meetings as assigned;
- Liaison between IVRRN steering committee and IVRRN subcommittees including legal, organizing, policy, and communications; ensure there is constant day-to-day communication among all committees to move the work forward.
- Provide IV Steering Committee, subcommittees, and coalition with programmatic support, including help developing program documents, grant writing including submission, editing, and creating other documents as requested;
- Develop process to track coalition members activities and volunteer participation.
- Responsible to build and maintain relationships with coalition members; responsible to onboard new coalition members and maintain IVRRN shared folder up to date.
- As needed, consult with the ACLU-SDIC consultant to provide additional guidance to coalition and help develop the network’s scope of work.
- Coordinate administrative work for legal response strategy and support policy committee for coalition’s advocacy actions; specifically, working with members to develop policy positions and engage with policymakers and assist legal subcommittee identify best practices for legal response strategy.
- Conduct literature and resource reviews to identify best practices for coalition; responsible for identifying training for coalition members.
- Continually broaden expertise in immigrant rights to serve as resource person to coalition members.
- Coordinate educational workshops, press events, and larger events; responsible for conducting outreach on behalf of coalition to garner support and identify new coalition partners.
- Prepare monthly reports on service deliverables, coalition activities, and programmatic goals progress.
- Create and modify budgets, monitor program finances, and communications work.
- Produces quarterly itemized category financial report for use in grantors reports.
- Mails meeting minutes and reminders, newsletters, and other written communications; responsible for printing materials for coalition meetings and following up on action items discussed.
- Answers telephone, handles requests as appropriate, and relays messages.
- Operates computers, typewriters, fax machines, copiers, and other office machines as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
