We are seeking a skilled Program Manager – Sample Management to lead and manage sampling and hospital pilot programs within the Pain Business Unit. This role will oversee end-to-end program operations including project planning, system enhancements, process documentation, KPI reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and possess the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly operational meetings for sampling and hospital pilot programs, ensuring alignment on enhancements, action plans, and timelines
- Define scope, prioritize, and track enhancements across internal systems and vendor platforms
- Build and manage detailed project plans with clear deliverables across internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a central repository of documentation including process flows, business rules, compliance materials, SOPs, and training resources
- Create and update executive-level presentations, including key metrics, insights, and program recommendations
- Develop integrated reporting dashboards for KPIs, SLAs, budgeting, and vendor invoicing
- Propose and implement process improvements and scaling strategies for new product indications or therapeutic areas
- Ensure vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations and explore opportunities for efficiency enhancements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Compliance, Legal, Data Management, Omnichannel Analytics) to align program goals, service levels, and risk management
- Act as a subject matter expert for operational processes and provide strategic insights to drive business outcomes
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience managing complex programs within a pharmaceutical or regulated industry setting
- Strong ability to create process flow diagrams, SOPs, training materials, and detailed documentation
- Proficient in data analysis and KPI reporting; able to distill insights and recommendations for various audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, track milestones, and deliver high-quality results across a matrixed organization
- Experience managing external vendors and optimizing their services for program success
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead with a continuous improvement mindset and adapt programs based on performance data and user feedback
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management or related leadership roles, preferably within pharmaceutical sales operations or healthcare programs
- 7+ years of experience in technology, data integration, or project management involving UAT and systems design
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree
- Proven experience in vendor and cross-functional team management
