Essential Functions:
- Lead the creation and implementation of action plans comprehensively to resolve customer issues
- Promote implementation of continuous improvement in OSW activities using lean and 6S methodologies
- Plan, manage and control the team’s performance by implementing overall direction and priorities as well as any corrective actions for non-conformities
- Implement policies and guidelines and evaluate results
- Ensure availability of appropriate resources, tools, equipment and support to meet customer requirements within the program
- Monitor performance of business execution using AAA and Customer appropriate metrics
- Ensure that all financial metrics are managed within contract requirements
- Recommend and manage the program budget and costing annual forecast
- Select employees, assign objectives, review performance and make recommendations on employee compensation to senior management
- Evaluate program team member performance and sets customer focused objectives.
- Coach for improved performance, implement disciplinary actions, and reassign personnel as necessary to optimize program performance
- Participate in and lead cross-functional process improvement groups
- Support corporate or site-wide initiatives; and Independently represent company to customer at working level.
- Position supervises eleven (11) employees.
- Position will be headquartered in Mobile, AL, with periodic travel/relocation required to various unanticipated project worksites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Machine Tool Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
- Three (3) years of experience as a Technical Coordinator Leader or related position within the aircraft maintenance field.
- Experience must include managing rework of aeronautic insulation blankets under deadlines and Airbus quality conformance requirements. Position supervises eleven (11) employees.
