About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and deliver complex IT Operations programs for a leading provider in the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance IT infrastructure, security, management, and enterprise systems. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting technology-driven growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Job Description
As a Technical Program Manager, you will oversee IT Operations programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed. You will serve as the primary program owner for initiatives spanning Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, , Applications, and Enterprise Systems teams.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage IT Operations programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and technical standards.
  • Plan, track, and execute projects involving platforms such as ServiceNow, Okta, Google Workspace, endpoint management tools, and security technologies.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable project plans, technical milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Own program governance, including status reporting, executive updates, risk mitigation, and decision tracking.
  • Drive ServiceNow-related initiatives, including module implementations, integrations, workflow optimization, and platform upgrades.
  • Coordinate and access management (IAM) projects, including Okta deployments and security controls.
  • Support cloud and collaboration platform projects, including Google Workspace administration and security posture improvements.
  • Collaborate with Information Security teams on audits, compliance efforts, and remediation programs.
  • Manage vendor engagements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies across people, processes, and technology.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, technical design reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Maintain program documentation and act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership through data-driven reporting.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical programs or projects within IT Operations or Enterprise IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations and platform upgrades.
  • Proven experience delivering IT projects across multiple technical domains (Service Desk, Infrastructure, , Security, Applications).
  • Working knowledge of IAM platforms such as Okta, including lifecycle management and access controls.
  • Experience supporting cloud productivity platforms, particularly Google Workspace.
  • Strong understanding of IT Operations processes, including incident, problem, change, and service delivery models.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting program status and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing vendors and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Information Security initiatives, including audits and compliance programs.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management or device lifecycle programs.
  • Experience integrating workflows between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices; ITIL certification a plus.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe.
  • Experience in large, distributed, or high-growth enterprise environments.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and strategic planning within IT Operations.
