Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understand client business challenges and work with them to define objectives, deliverables, and strategic initiatives
  • Provide strategic insight on the development of frameworks, tools, and methodologies to enhance client performance
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure organizational success
  • Develop and apply new approaches to difficult and complex problems
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices; apply this knowledge to deliver innovative and effective solutions
  • Guide teams in conducting deep business analysis, process mapping, and data-driven decision-making
  • Actively contribute to internal initiatives aimed at improving RPG’s processes, tools, and market presence


Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team members and assist with developing, implementing, and completing projects and tasks
  • Lead and manage projects to completion and ensure organizational goals are achieved
  • Recognizes team members for achievements and contributions
  • Complete performance management cycle with team members, including providing guidance on goal setting, relationship building, and completion of evaluation form
  • Identify team members’ strengths and opportunities for improvement and supports development within those areas
  • Develop junior staff by providing ongoing training, guidance, and professional development opportunities
  • Manage team members' day-to-day work and productivity
  • Implement Performance Improvement Plans or disciplinary action with team members when needed
  • Oversee the employee onboarding and training process
  • Assist with interview process to ensure the best candidates are brought onto the team


Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Managers project(s) and is accountable for overall outcomes
  • Develop and manage project work plans, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met
  • Lead problem-solving sessions with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth execution of project tasks
  • Brief leadership team on project status and track action items


Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team to identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
  • Participate in proposal development when needed
  • Assists with development of needs assessment proposals (white papers) to develop future business growth opportunities


Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field required; Master's degree in related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare consulting, project leadership, DoD, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading people and projects required
  • Experience leading and delivering large-scale consulting or government projects with measurable outcomes required
  • Strong understanding of project management, business process improvement, and organizational strategy required
  • Experience with consulting frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking) required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) required
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification required
  • Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into actionable steps
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

Qualifications:

  • AWS Foundational or AWS Professional Certifications
  • Security+, CISSP, or other DoD 8140/8570-compliant certifications.
  • Previous experience supporting federal clients such as the VA, DHA, or HHS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

This position requires the employee to be a US and may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.


Work Environment:

Work will be done in an office setting/environment and will need to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. The person in this role will need to have the ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and occasionally will need to move about inside an office environment. This position frequently communicates with other employees and external stakeholders. The person needs to have the ability to accurately exchange information in these settings.
