Role Description The Program Manager (Full-time) will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs and projects that support US Joint Activities’ mission. This on-site role, based in Baltimore, MD, includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, tracking milestones, and ensuring deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. The Program Manager will regularly assess risks, develop mitigation plans, prepare status reports, and brief leadership and stakeholders on program progress. Daily responsibilities also involve aligning program activities with strategic objectives, facilitating meetings, resolving issues, and continuously improving processes and documentation. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external partners while maintaining adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and security requirements.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in program or project management, including planning, execution, and performance tracking for complex initiatives.
- Strong skills in stakeholder coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and communication with diverse teams and leadership levels.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources, with proven competence in risk assessment, issue resolution, and decision-making.
- Proficiency with common project management tools and software, and ability to maintain clear documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are beneficial.
- Experience working with government, defense, or joint operations environments is , including familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
